(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man arrested Tuesday on drug-dealing charges after police found more than 35 pounds of marijuana and about 1,000 hits of LSD in his house.
Police arrested 22-year-old Garett Morley on felony charges of dealing a Schedule I, II or III drug, dealing marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in the Monroe County Correctional Center on a $10,000 bond.
Morley was arrested after an investigation by the Bloomington Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Bloomington police Lt. John Kovach says when officers - armed with a search warrant - entered Morley's home in the 900 block of West Sixth Street, they found him and Morley's 3-year-old daughter inside.
Police found 35 one-pound bags of marijuana, 4.3 grams of the drug MDMA, or ecstasy, around 1,000 hits of LSD, more than $20,000 in cash and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
