(DAVIESS CO.) - No injuries were reported in a Wednesday afternoon fire South of U.S. 50 on County Road 125 east in Daviess County.
The Washington Township Fire Department responded to the fire where a faulty flue on a wood burning stove is believed to have started the barn fire..
The fire was at the property of Racy and Quaylyn Williams.
Two classic vehicles in the barn were destroyed in the blaze.
Elnora Fire Update
Elnora Fire Chief Rob Dove says two women escaped the blaze Wednesday in an early morning house fire in Elnora. But both suffered smoke inhalation and were takenat Daviess Community Hospital where they were treated and released.
The older home at 427 West State Road 58 was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived just before 5 a.m.
Firefighters report that the fire had a big start on the older frame house before they arrived.
"There were also electrical lines on the ground and we had to wait for the utility company to arrive before we could put the fire out," Chief Dove added.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
