(GREENE CO.) - Four people were injured late Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident on State Road 54, just west of State Road 67 in Greene County.
The Greene County Daily World reports 66-year-old Jerry Nash of Lyons was westbound on State Road 54 when he veered left of center and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Lora Bechtel of Odon.
Nash reportedly missed when he attempted to throw a cigarette out the window and it landed in his lap.
He then attempted to make a left turn into a parking lot, but did not see Bechtel's vehicle until the last second.
Nash, Bechtel and two minor passengers were taken to Greene County General for treatment of lacerations and possible neck and chest injuries.
Bechtel's foot may have been broken in the crash.
