Lawrence County Soil And Water Conservation District Honors Local Residents

(MITCHELL) - The Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District celebrated its 60th anniversary at Spring Mill Inn and honored several area residents.

Jamie Hooten, a teacher at Lincoln Elementary school was awarded the 2016 Conservation Teacher of the Year.
Hoffman cattle Farms, LLC was named 2016 Conservation Farm of the Year.
Sydney Goodwine, Brogan Cochran, Colton Martin, Stratton Wykoff and Jenna Norrington, were honored as the 2016 SWCD Poster Contest winners and Olivia Dillman was honored as the 2016 State Poster winner.
Autumn Greer was honored for her 2016 4-H Soil & Water Conservation project champion.
