(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman complained of head pain after a two-vehicle accident on Mitchell Road.
The accident was reported at 2:40 p.m., Saturday.
According to a Bedford Police report, 20-year-old Ariel Weddle of Coal City was traveling south on Mitchell Road when a vehicle in front of her changed lanes and she didn't see another car in front of her stop, until it was too late.
Weddle's 2005 Pontiac Grand Am struck the rear of a 2004 Hyndai Sonata, driven by 25-year-old Alexis Flynn of Mitchell.
Police say Flynn had stopped to make a left turn near Charlie's Fireworks when her vehicle was hit in the rear.
Flynn complained of head pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene. She was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.
Assisting at the scene was an IU Health Hospital ambulance and Bedford Fire Department extrication unit.
