(BEDFORD) - The 13th Annual Mr. BNL is tonight.
Seventeen young men from BNL will compete for the coveted Mr. BNL title beginning at 7 p.m. at the school's Performing Arts Center.
The competition is the primary fundraiser of Renaissance, which encourages and rewards students for good attendance and improving their grades.
Mr. BNL is open to any male student. Each candidate represents a school club or team. The teens are judged on a fitness routine (20 points), costume (25 points), talent (20 points), formalwear/interview (25 points) and overall impression (10 points.)
Admission is $5 with the proceeds going to support the BNL's Renaissance organization.
Bedford North Lawrence Senior Michael Young secured the 2016 Mr. BNL crown and was named Mr. Congeniality.
