(BEDFORD) - A fire caused extensive damage to a home at 419 H Street on Sunday night.
According to Bedford Fire Department Battalion Chief Dewayne Turpen, firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 8:20 p.m.
"Firefighters from all three stations responded," says Battalion Chief Turpen. "When firefighters arrived there was heavy smoke showing and the two occupants were out of the home."
"No one was injured," Battalion Chief Turpen added. "There is extensive damage to the whole house."
Firefighters were on the scene until 11:35 p.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
