(SALEM) - Officials, store owners and city council members broke ground on The Shops at Settler’s Crossing Thursday afternoon in Salem.
Mayor Troy Merry announced four stores coming to the building - Maurice's, Shoe Dept, Fantastic Sam's and Verizon.
Randall Hake, Cederwood Development's Vice President of Commercial Development, says he anticipates the shops to to open early this fall. Construction will begin in the next month or so.
