(LINTON) - The Linton Pride in the Park announces a park-wide Easter egg hunt at Humphrey Park.
The event is planned for April 15 at 2:30 p.m., rain or shine.
Officials say the park will be divided into four sections for ages 0 to 3 years of age, 4 to 7 years of age, 8 to 80 years of age, and the fourth section will be reserved for those with special needs of any age.
Each of the more than 5,000 eggs will be filled with a treat inside and some will be able to be turned in for a larger prize, thanks to a $500 donation for the Trustee's Office.
Donations of cash, candy and filled or unfilled plastic eggs may also be dropped off with Burke at the Linton Veterinary Hospital, located next to CVS at 1701 East State Highway 54 in Linton.
Volunteers are also needed. To help with the event call Pride in the Park President Janette Evans at (812) 847-7345 or stop by Shields Hardware to see Evans.
