(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested after he walked out of Dick’s Sporting Goods Monday with athletic bags stuffed with stolen items.
According to Bloomington Police Capt. Steve Kellams, the manager of the store in College Mall called police around 4 p.m. to report the theft. The manager had followed the suspect and informed police of his location.
Police stopped 40-year-old Johnathan Huffman after they found him behind a nearby CVS Pharmacy with the bags over his shoulders, the tags still attached. Inside the bags, police found several other items, including Under Armour sandals, Champs boxer briefs and Nike apparel.
