(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested early this morning after he allegedly threw a love seat at a woman.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 29-year-old Kyle McComb was arrested on a warrant charging him with domestic battery and interfering with reporting a crime.
According to a Lawrence County Superior Court I affidavit, on February 22 Lawrence County Police received a 911 call from a woman who reported a domestic fight, but then the phone disconnected.
The dispatcher was able to contact the woman again and was able to send an officer to a home in the 1300 block of Lawrenceport Main.
McComb left before police arrived.
The woman told police that during the domestic fight, McComb threw a love seat at her while she was dialing 911. It knocked her down into a closet causing the call to disconnect.
The woman told police she was in a lot of pain from the love seat hitting her and falling into the closet.
McComb was arrested by Lawrence County Police this morning at 12:38 a.m.
