(OOLITIC) - The Oolitic Town Council passed an ordinance Monday night to allow ATVs on roadways.
The ordinance states drivers must be licensed and carry liability insurance.
The vehicle must be inspected by Oolitic Town Marshal Jon Jeffries and must have a sticker issued by the Oolitic Police Department shown in a visible spot.
Failure to comply with the regulations will result in a $50 fine for first time violation and a $100 for a second with in a year of the first offense.
