(SOLSBERRY) - During the morning hours of Friday, ISP Trooper Richard Klun and his K9 Partner Loki were called out to assist Greene County Sheriff’s Deputies who were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on 47-year-old Gordon Keith Michael of Solsberry.
Michael had been attempting to evade law enforcement for months and was wanted on three felony counts of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of marijuana.
Deputies advised Trooper Klun that an individual was heard inside of Michael's residence and despite their repeated announcements and requests for the individual to come out, they were receiving no response from the person within. After Trooper Klun arrived he made a loud verbal notification advising the person inside they could be bitten by his K9 Partner, if he refused to exit the home peacefully.
Michael then exited the residence and was arrested without further incident.
He was transported to the Greene County Jail where he is being held without bail on the three felony warrants.
Trooper Klun and K9 Loki were assisted by Greene County Sheriff's Deputies, Blake McCamey, David Elmore, Zach Goad and Sergeant Bobby Pierce. Law Enforcement was also assisted by the Greene County Ambulance Service.
