(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Master Gardener Association is using its 2017 annual Flower and Patio Show to teach others to “Share the Bounty.”
The Flower and Patio Show is set for Friday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greene County Community Event Center.
The event is free to attend.
Greene County Master Gardener member Kathy Willing said the theme of Share the Bounty was inspired by the association's grant-funded vegetable garden.
Visitors will be given free seeds and trees and information about where people can donate fresh vegetables.
The event will feature a wide variety of vendors with garden-related items, including - garden art, plants, flowers, the Master Gardener Plant Sale and gently used garden items for sale.
There will be food for sale at the event.
Saturday's event will also feature Vanderburgh County Extension Educator Larry Caplan, who is also a professional magician, will be provide two presentations.
At 11 a.m., he will present "Maximize Your Garden Harvest and at 1 p.m. Caplan will present children's show titled "The Magic Gardener."
