(MITCHELL) - Jess Beck has been named the new assistant property manager at Spring Mill State Park.
She is replacing Jon Winne, who took a position as property manager at Harmonie State Park.
Beck formerly served as assistant property manager at the same park Winne is now managing and previously served as pool and beach director for Indiana's state parks.
Beck, who is from Fort Wayne, graduated from Ball State University with an advertising degree in 2012. She then became the beach and pool director for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources bringing a strong aquatic background to her new position.
In addition to the duties of seeing Spring Mill State Park pool is in top shape she will be in charge of scheduling staff, conducting safety training and doing playground inspections.
