(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested on a charge of public intoxicated after police were called to a residence on Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday night.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers responded to the 120 block of Lincoln Avenue after a report of a fight.
"When the officers arrived one of the men shot out a back door and ran down the alley," Chief Parsley added. "Officers pursued and he was detained until officers could figure out what was going on."
Police determined that 22-year-old Cody Bolinger of Bedford and his male companion had gotten into an altercation.
"No other charges were filed, but Mr. Bolinger was arrested on a charge of public intoxication because of his condition when officers detained him in the alley," Chief Parsley says.
