(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley presented commendations to six officers for their life-saving efforts this week at the Bedford Board of Works meeting.
Parsley says thanks to these officers' dedication and life-saving efforts, there are individuals still enjoying life today. The officers used AEDs and performed CPR to save lives.

The department has two new officers - Dakoda Emmons and Chase Hamilton. Both will attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in June and should complete all training and begin solo patrols by the end of the year.
