(OWEN CO.) - A Bowling Green woman died and another woman was seriously hurt in a head-on collision near McCormick’s Creek State Park Wednesday morning.
According to Spencer Police, 48-year-old Darlisa Linne, was killed in a crash at 8:30 a.m. on State Road 46 when her Kia Optima crossed the center line west of the entrance of McCormick's Creek State Park. T
Linne's vehicle struck a Chrysler PT Crusier driven by 71-year-old Leona Chambers, of Spencer.
Chambers suffered serious injuries and was taken to IU Health Hospital Bloomington.
The highway was closed for three hours while an accident reconstruction expert investigated the crash scene.
