Annual City Of Salem Easter Event
The annual City of Salem Easter Event will be held this Saturday, April 8, in the Salem Public Library. Many activities are planned, including finding Easter eggs, playing games, candy, cookies, and a movie. Bring your camera for great pictures with the Easter Bunny. The event will be held from 1-3 p.m. This event is free for the community.
Easter Eggstravaganza At Murray Forest Park
Join us for a fun-filled Easter Eggstravaganza at Murray Forrest Park. The Parks Department will be offering an Eggstravaganza on April 15th from 10-11:45 a.m. in the Stalker Gymnasium. This will include fun games and activities, and the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. At Noon everyone will head down to Murray Park and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt.
Garden Villa Easter Egg Hunt
Garden Villa located at 2111 Norton Lane will be having an Easter Egg hunt on April 15th at 1 p.m. and public are invited to attend. There will be popcorn, snow cones, face painting and of course the egg hunt. We will also offer an egg hunt for those with intellectual disabilities or physical handicaps. Special prizes go to the golden egg recipients. The Easter bunny will be making a special appearance.
St. John's Episcopal Church
St. John's Episcopal Church, corner of 14th and M streets, has scheduled its annual Easter egg hunt for April 8, from 1-2:30 p.m. The hunt is for children ages 3-9. Parents must accompany children. The event will include a story time, an Easter craft and refreshments for the children and family members. The Easter bunny also will visit.
CornerStone Easter egg hunt
An Easter egg hunt will follow the morning worship at CornerStone Worship Center on Easter Sunday. The worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Classes are available for children through fifth-grade age. The center is at 4045 Old State Road 37 North.
Valley Mission Easter egg hunt
Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene, 110 Hillcrest Way, will host an Easter egg hunt and other activities on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. The event is planned rain or shine and is for children from pre-school through fifth-grade age. More information is available by calling the church at (812) 275-7170
Tulip Street Christian Church
Tulip Street Christian Church will host the Mitchell Community Easter Egg Hunt. It will begin at 2 p.m. on April 15 at Burris Elementary School. About 10,000 eggs will be filled with treats and will await hunters in age-appropriate hunts. Call (812) 849-2599 or email office@tulipstreet.com for more information.
Bloomfield Park
Five thousand candy-filled easter eggs will be hidden around the Bloomfield Park for the 2017 Bloomfield Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 2 p.m. The Easter bunny will arrive around 1:15 p.m. and free games will also begin at this time. In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will be on April 15 beginning at 2 p.m. Five different age groups will hunt seperately and with one child going at a time to allow parents to watch their children which could be in several age groups. The youngest age group is for those under 23 months, with those aged 2-3 years in the next group, 4-5 years old in a group, 6-8 years old in a group and the oldest age group for those 9 to twelve years old.
Sherwood Oaks Christian Church Bloomington West
Sherwood Oaks Christian Church Bloomington West (5227 W Airport RdBloomington, Indiana) is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Karst Farm Park near Shelter #5. Kids of all ages are welcome to join us on April 15 from 10:00am-12:00pm. There will be food and fun starting at 10:00am and the egg hunt will begin at 11:00am. Bring a basket!
