(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he allegedly shoved his wife and daughter during a domestic fight on Wednesday night.
Mitchell Police arrested 46-year-old John Barlow on charges of domestic battery in the presence of a minor and public intoxication.
Police were called to a home in the 500 block of West Oak Street after a report of a domestic fight.
Police say the fight started after Barlow's wife attempted to take his key in an attempt to stop him from driving because he was drunk.
Police say Barlow got mad and shoved his wife and daughter.
His wife had marks on her chest and shoulder and the daughter complained of pain and had marks on her arm and finger.
Barlow is being held in the Lawrence County Jail without bond. According to court recorded, Barlow was out on bond at the time of this arrest on a January charge of driving while intoxicated.
