(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman was arrested after she wandered into another person’s home Wednesday morning and Mitchell Police found her with meth.
27-year-old Kyle Laws was charged with possession of meth, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance and residential entry.
At 2:13 a.m., a woman called the Lawrence County Police Department to report an intoxicated woman, whom she did not know, came into her home in the 200 block of North Sixth Street. A Mitchell Police Department officer responded.
When the officer approached the woman, she told them she thought she was at a different person's home.
During a search of Laws police found meth and she was arrested. She is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on a $7,500 surety or $755 cash bond.
