(BEDFORD) - The Salvation Army has moved to a new location.
The Salvation Army has moved from its K Street location earlier this year and is now sharing space in the Lawrence County Senior Citizen Center on Washington Avenue.
The agency is staffed by a part-time employee Mary Baker, who will meet with clients by appointment only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling Baker at (812) 276-5831.
The agency will continue to offer needed services like emergency rent, utilities food and lodging services, the Red Kettle campaign and Angel tree, but will no longer host church services or be involved with the men's shelter.
