(SEYMOUR) - A 30-year-old Seymour man was arrested Saturday after he fled from Jackson County Sheriff deputies.
Police arrested 30-year-old Jeronimo Pop Pop.
Police say Pop was never issued a driver's license and will also face a charge of resisting arrest with a vehicle.
Pop is being held without bond in the Jackson County Jail pending his initial hearing.
On Saturday at around 8:43 a.m. Reserve Deputy Scott Davis attempted to stop Pop who was driving a 2004 grey GMC Envoy for speeding on County Road 700 East just south of County Road 800 North.
Pop would not stop and then turned westbound on County Road 800 North.
Davis then activated his siren along with the emergency lights but the driver still failed to stop.
Pop continued westbound on County Road 800 North and finally stopped just east of County Road 575 East and was arrested.
Deputy Davis was assisted by Reserve Deputy James Murphy and Deputy Rob Henley, both of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
