(SAN ANTONIO, TX.) - U.S. Air Force Airman Dakota S. Robertson graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Robertson is the son of Lana J. and Kevin D. Robertson of Williams, Ind., and grandson of Larry and Patricia Robertson of Bedford, Ind.
He is a 2016 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, Bedford.
U.S. Air Force Airman Kenaniah D. Taft also graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Taft earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Michael Taft of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Shannon Whittington of Bloomington, Ind., and the step-son of Joseph Whittington of Bloomington, Ind., and Gloria Taft of Shepherdsville, Ky.
He is a 2009 graduate of North Bullitt High School, Shepherdsville, Ky.
