(BEDFORD) - Motorists on 16th Street can expect lane restrictions over Spider Creek bridge from now until September.
The Indiana Department of Transportation implemented lane restrictions this week for eastbound and westbound traffic taking the two lanes in each direction down to one lane.
INDOT Crews are paving an overlay on the bridge and doing erosion control work under the bridge.
Officials say there will be another lane shift in late June or early July.
Work should be completed in September.
