(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield woman was arrested on a warrant after she allegedly stole a vehicle and then crashed it.
According to a Bloomfield Police report, on April 28th police received a call from a woman who reported that she had returned from a wedding to find her vehicle missing.
A friend, who had been with the owner of the stolen vehicle, reported that they received an anonymous call saying 37-year-old Jessica Livingston had taken the vehicle and had been involved in an accident.
A witness received two calls from Jessica - one at 2:21 a.m. and another at 5:02 a.m. She left voice mails saying she had crashed the vehicle.
Livingston was arrested on charges of auto theft and driving with a suspended driver's license with a prior conviction.
On May 18th the court entered a not guilty plea on her behalf and he was released on her own recognizance. A pretrial conference is scheduled for July 10th at 2:30 p.m. in Greene County Superior Court. She was appointed public defender Timothy Shonk to represent her.
