(WEST BOGGS) - Grab your rods and reels and head to West Boggs Park on Saturday to participate in a free Kids Fishing Derby.
Event will be held on a DNR Free Fishing Day, so no license is required for all Indiana residents.
The derby will be divided into three age groups: 2-4, 5-8, and 9-12. Prizes will be awarded to children in each division for the largest fish, the most fish, and the smallest fish.
Free lunch will be provided to all Fishing Derby participants.
Boat rides from the local conservation officer will be available for all children at 9 a.m.
Don't have a child fishing or looking for something to do while your child is fishing? You're in luck! A Fish Fillet Workshop will be held at the Activity Center at 10 a.m.
