(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on 16th Street, Friday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 52-year-old Lucinda Duncan suffered back, neck and head pain, She was treated at the scene and told personnel she would go to the hospital by private vehicle.
The accident happened at 11:43 a.m. 16th Street near Poplar Street. Duncan was traveling west on 16th Street and was attempting to turn her 2005 Chevrolet Equinox, into a parking lot, when her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2009 Ford Mustang driven by 17-year-old Dana Wade, of Mitchell.
Wade told police did not see Duncan slowing down.
Wade was not injured.
