(BEDFORD) - An Orleans woman was arrested after she was found stumbling on 16th Street.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, an officer watched 43-year-old Tracy Maranto stumble against a parked car at 16th Street between I and H streets Sunday afternoon.
Police say Maranto appeared to be intoxicated and continued to stumble around until the officer stopped her. That is when the officer noticed Maranto was chewing on something and asked to see what it was. It was a green leafy substance determined to be marijuana.
The officer arrested her on a charge of public intoxication and possession of marijuana and taken to jail.
While being processed at the jail, officers found Maranto had a metal grinder, an oxycodone pill and a Suboxone strip, which she did not have prescriptions for.
She was then charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
