(BEDFORD) - For the last few years Bryantsville Hunger Relief Project‎ has partnered with Junior Leaders, the Lawrence County Fair Board and International Disaster Emergency Services to organize a packing of rice based meals.
Officials buy in bulk - rice, soy bean and vitamin products - that are then bagged into meal size packages.
Tonight at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds, hopefully more than 300 world changers from around the area will come together to package 100,000 meals.
Last year the group packaged 20,000 meals with 200 people.
Each meal cost the group about .25 cents for the supplies. Donations are being accepted to the cover that cost.
