(BEDFORD) - Safe Night 2017 is Saturday, June 10th at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Officials are still accepting booth requests and donations.
Each booth must spread a prevention message encouraging youth and families to be healthy and safe.
This is a FREE event for families, therefore no products or services may be sold at the event.
Booths are welcome to pass out appropriate promotional materials that advertises their business and or service as long as it has alcohol, tobacco and other drug use prevention messages or other health or safety messages.
Tables inside the Expo Hall will be available for vendors. For the safety of participants, if a booth consists of games or activities that involve hitting or throwing objects, the booth will be placed outside or in another building. Tables and chairs inside the Expo Hall will be available only to booths assigned inside the Expo Hall. Those assigned outside will have to provide their own tables and chairs. If vendors need any special accommodations (space for floor displays, demonstrations, activities or need extra chairs) those request will come on a first come, first serve basis.
Booths need to be set up by 4 p.m. Saturday, June 10th.
This year's event will include long-time favorites airbrush face painting, t-shirt tie-dying, inflatable games, an obstacle course, hot dogs and chips, ice cream, snow cones, popcorn and much more.
As always admission, food, treats and all activities are free!
