(VIGO CO.) - Indiana State Police say the driver of a stolen car rolled the vehicle Thursday night during a police chase.
Police say 40-year-old Jason Donovan of Sullivan sped away from an attempted traffic stop for speeding on State Road 246 in Vigo County.
Donovan was clocked at 100 miles an hour during the chase which ended when his vehicle went airborne while crossing railroad tracks east of US 41 and rolled over.
He was treated for minor injuries at a Terre Haute hospital and then booked into the Vigo County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated-refusal; resisting law enforcement; receiving stolen auto parts; reckless driving; and numerous other traffic violations.
The car Donovan was driving was stolen April 14th in the City of Sullivan.
