(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested an 18-year-old male after they say he was involved in a case in which another teen was robbed of his cash in the parking lot of an apartment complex on April 10th.
Police arrested Dakota J. Meadows on charges of robbery and pointing a firearm, after he returned to Bloomington after hiding out at a relative's home in Owen County.
According to Bloomington Police Department Detective Sgt. Dana Cole, investigators received a tip Meadows had returned to Bloomington.
Meadows was identified by the teenager he injured during the robbery. That teen suffered face and head injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The robbery occurred when the teen went to the apartment complex to collect $10 from someone who owed him gas money. He told police he was jumped by a group of people. During the robbery, Meadows pointed a gun at the male while the group took his wallet, containing $400.
