(WASHINGTON) - Washington police say a driver pulled over for a seat belt violation ended up in jail on drug and gun charges.
Police say they attempted to pull over 24-year-old Guadalupe Fuentes III of Washington on Saturday morning after they spotted him driving south on Northwest Third Street not wearing a seat belt.
Fuentes didn't stop and traveled three blocks before pulling over.
The officer discovered that Fuentes was driving with a suspended driver's license.
He was eventually arrested on a felony charge of resisting arrest, possession of meth and marijuana and possession of a handgun without a license and driving while his driver's license was suspended with a prior conviction.
