(WORTHINGTON) - A Worthington man was arrested after he allegedly held a woman against her will and injured her during a domestic fight.
41-year-old Thomas Walls is facing three counts battery resulting in bodily injury; criminal confinement; criminal mischief; intimidation; residential break and entry and criminal mischief.
According to a probable cause, Worthington Police Department the incident happened on May 7th after a woman called police saying Walls had kicked her and she had fled to a neighbors.
While police were en-route they received information that Walls was running north on Myra Street wearing nothing but his underwear.
Then they received a call that he was back at the home.
When police arrived they found Walls who was intoxicate and had small cuts and blood on his knuckles and forearms.
Walls was placed in handcuffs, but continued to tell police he had no involvement in the altercation and began fighting and cussing at officers and threatening the woman and others for calling police.
Witnesses say the altercation began at Wall's apartment and then continued at a neighbors after the victim had fled there for help.
Police discovered that before the woman called police she and Walls had snorted a line of meth, smoked marijuana, ingested Walls' prescription medication and drank alcoholic beverages.
Upon being contacted by a relative, the woman told Walls she had to go home which started the fight. Walls threatened to physically harm her before putting an oven in front of the door and locking the other, preventing the woman from leaving.
The woman was able to escape and run to a neighbor for assistance.
The neighbor told police Walls had forced his way into their home, pushed the neighbor causing him to fall into a kitchen table and a female neighbor causing her pain.
Walls then went to the bathroom where the woman was hiding and kicked a hole in the wall beside the bathroom door and one in the wall across from the bathroom. He then forced his way into the bathroom and removed the women grabbing her by the hair and dragging her into the hallway.
While being transported to jail, Walls allegedly was combative, threatening officers, and kicking the doors of the police vehicle.
When the officer requested a Bloomfield officer to assistance him when they arrived at the jail, Walls threatened to harm both officers.
