(PATOKA) - The 26th Annual Star Party is Saturday.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Nature Center and from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. or later at the beach.
Enjoy a presentation by the Evansville and Louisville Astronomical Societies and Stonebelt Star Gazers of Bedford as they share their knowledge of the sky.
Certified glasses, safe for viewing the upcoming solar eclipse, will be given away at the Nature Center and beach for all in attendance while supplies last.
There will be kid's activities and giveaways until dark.
Telescopes will be set up for viewing the stars and the sun.
