(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe Lake will host the 2nd Leg of the National Championship Triple Crown for the International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) at Fairfax SRA from this weekend.
The tournament schedule includes a National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) shoot on Friday and Saturday and a kids' shoot on Saturday.
Competition ranges are open to participants only, no spectators. Spectators are allowed only at the practice range, kids' shoot, and NASP event. The vendor area, including food options, is open to the general public and will be located in the Fairfax beach parking lot.
FAIRFAX SRA: The area north of the property entrance road at Fairfax SRA, including hiking trails, will be CLOSED to the general public during the duration of the tournament; beach parking will be limited. Access to the Fourwinds Resort and Marina and the Fairfax boat ramps will not be affected.
PAYNETOWN SRA: Because of staffing needs at the IBO tournament, the Activity Center will be closed on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18.
