(UNDATED) - June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, an ideal time to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and its impact on individuals and families nationwide. Everyone who has a brain is at risk to develop Alzheimer’s, a fatal disease that is often misunderstood. During the month of June, Hoosiers can help by raising awareness and taking action.

During Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, the Alzheimer's Association encourages everyone to show their support for people impacted by the disease by doing the following:

Join the Alzheimer's Association in wearing purple throughout the month.
