(CRANE) - Crane Army Ammunition Activity welcomed a new commanding officer during a ceremony Monday morning.
Commander Col. James Hooper relinquished his command to Col. Michael Garlington.
Colonel Garlington has an extensive military career which started with his enlistment in the Army in 1992.
He served as Current Operations Chief for the Transregional Threats Coordination Cell prior to his new duties at Crane.
Hooper, who served in command starting in 2015, says he is looking forward to his retirement. Below is his final message to the workforce.
