(BLOOMINGTON) - Entrepreneurs, code writers, tech developers and the local economic development community will gather Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Dimension Mill in the Trades District for the INX3 Pre-Qualification Regional Pitch Competition.
Winners of the Bloomington competition will go on to compete in the state competition held in Indianapolis, June 13-16.
INX3 is a 5-day conference that focuses on entrepreneurship, startups, and venture capital.
Bloomington's event is a pre-qualifying competition and winners will go on to pitch at INX3 for a chance to win $100,000 in cash and prizes. Competing startups include SaaS (Software as a Service), IoT (Internet of Things), medical devices and Indiana University-based projects.
The public is welcome to attend. All spectators, guests and participants are asked to RSVP to the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) office at (812) 335-7346.
The Dimension Mill is located at 334 W. 11th Street, just south of the Upland Brewery and north of Solution Tree. Soon to be redeveloped into a collaborative co-work space, attendees will get to see the Mill in its "before" state on Thursday. Renderings of the completed project will be available for review at the event.
