(BEDFORD) - Lessons will be offered for children and adults at Bedford’s John Lowery Municipal Pool.
For children ages 12 months to 5 years old, lessons will be offered in three sessions on June 5-15, June 19-29 and July 10-20. Lessons are Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The cost is $30. The goal is to prepare the children for the pool's Learn-to-Swim program.
The Learn-to-Swim program, which is for children ages 4 to 15, will have classes June 5-16, June 19-30 and July 10-31. Sessions are Monday through Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. or Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The cost is $30.
Adult swim lessons are from July 24-Aug. 3. Classes are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The cost is $30.
For swimmers who want to learn the art of diving, there are classes for that, too, from June 19-30. The classes are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to noon. The cost is $30.

At Spring Mill State Park, swim lessons will be offered June 19-23 and June 26-30. The classes are first-come, first-serve, and are limited to 20 people. The classes are free. To sign up, visit or call the park at (812) 849-3534.
At the Mitchell City Pool, swim lessons are $25. The class sessions will be announced at a later date.
