(HUNTINGBURG) - A Ford pickup truck crashed into a Huntingburg home on Monday night.
According to a Huntingburg Police report, Roy Nicholson was using the 1983 Ford pickup to jump start a lawn mower at a home on West 19th Street around 6:58 p.m.
Nicholson told police he closed the hood of the idling truck causing the vehicle to jump into reverse and lurch backwards striking a mailbox before crossing 10th Street and striking a home.
No one in the home was injured during the incident.
Police estimated the damages, mostly exterior, to the home between $10,000 and $22,000.
