(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police officers arrested two men on Wednesday morning after they received information about possible drug activity.
When police arrived in the area of 14th Street near Hardee's they could not locate the vehicle the men were in, but the vehicle pulled into the Hardee's parking lot.
Officials discovered that 24-year-old Dillon Pastor of Mitchell was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
According to Chief Dennis Parsley, officers found Pastor in possession of marijuana.
"He gave officers consent to search the vehicle," Chief Parsley says. "Officers found a digital scale and a baggie of marijuana between the front seats."
Officials also found a backpack that belonged to a passenger, 24-year-old Matthew Anderson of Mitchell.
"Inside of the backpack officer found a smoking device that tested positive for meth and rolling papers.
Both men were arrested.
Anderson is facing charges of possession of meth, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance,
Pastor is facing charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
