(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested after police were called to the parking lot area at Lincoln School after a report of a domestic fight.
Bedford police arrested 33-year-old Tina Lane of Bedford on charges of unlawful possession of a syringe, identity deception, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for petition to revoke.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the school on Friday after a report of a male and woman fighting. When police arrived the couple had fled the area.
They located Lane in the alley between F and G streets where she attempted to hide from police.
"Officers spoke to Lane, who gave them a false name," Chief Parsley says. "They then received consent to search her backpack and located a smoking device that tested positive for marijuana residue and a syringe."
