(BEDFORD) - The Drug Task Force arrested two people after they served a search warrant at the Mark III Motel Wednesday morning.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley the Task Force went to the motel at 10:33 a.m.
There they found 34-year-old Courtney Roberts and 23-year-old Timothy Kern inside the room.
During their search police found multiple baggies, smoking pipes and a digital scale that were covered with residue. That residue tested positive for meth.
"They also found a baggie containing a crystal substance that tested positive for meth," Chief Parsley say. "They found a safe inside the room and obtained a search warrant for that and found more of the crystal substance inside and another smoking device and miscellaneous items."
Both were arrested on a felony charge of dealing meth.
