(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon on H Street.
According to a Bedford Police report, 32-year-old Heather Umphress of Bedford was traveling south on H Street, near 21st Street when a 2003 Honda Odyssey driven by 32-year-old Joshua Teste of Bedford began backing into the road from in between two vehicles. Umphress' 2005 Chevrolet Uplander then struck Tester's vehicle.
Umphress says she didn't see the vehicle until it was too late.
Tester told police he was backing out of his driveway but thought Umphress would have to stop at the stop sign giving him time to back out.
Umphress complained of arm pain following the incident. Her 3-year-old passenger complained of neck pain. Both were treated at the scene.
Tester was not injured during the incident.
