(OOLITIC) - A Bedford woman was injured after tire failure caused her to drive off the road and strike a tree Sunday night near Oolitic.
According to a Lawrence County Police report 20-year-old Kaylyn Eagans of Bedford was driving eastbound on East Oolitic Road near Barlow Drive at 7:34 p.m. when the tire failed on her 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Eagans moved into the left lane, ran off the road and struck a tree.
Police say Eagan complained of pain but had no visible injuries following the incident.
