(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Board of Works and Safety approved a new design for the Limestone Trail.
The proposed bike and pedestrian trail would connect the Milwaukee Trail to downtown Bedford.
The trail will be a single-wide path that will go from 10th Street to 17th Street to Lincoln Avenue and east onto 14th Street to J Street.
Five trees will be removed on 14th Street south to the alley to accommodate the new trail. The Bedford Tree Board says the trees will be replaced three to one, once the trail is complete.
