(ORLEANS) - The big yellow buses are going to be rolling again in Orleans as students being their first day of school on Wednesday.
Orleans Police Department is asking motorists to be alert when buses are loading and unloading children. Motorists are also asked to please keep an eye out for the stop arms that signal an impending stop.
Police warn motorists that it is a crime to run through a bus stop arm; not to mention extremely dangerous for the children involved.
Police asked that motorists and students work together to make this an accident free school year.
