(COLUMBUS) - A Freetown man was arrested after he led Columbus police on a pursuit on Friday.
Police arrested 29-year-old Charles Reed on charges of resisting arrest and outstanding warrants.
Police say they recognized Reed, who had two outstanding warrants for failure to appear, on his bicycle near State and Jones streets around 8:45 p.m.
When police tried to stop Reed, he attempted to pedal away. Police found Reed hiding behind a building on Dahn Street where he was arrested.
